G-Cloud 13 - RM1557.13

G-Cloud 13 replaced G-Cloud 12 and will continue to provide cloud hosting and software services, together with associated support services to the UK central government departments and all other public sector bodies.​

The following changes have been implemented:

  • ​Improved terms and conditions, with greater inclusion for the provision of day rate cloud support services​
  • ​Inclusion of the latest procurement policies, including social value and prompt payment​
  • ​Introduction of a fourth Lot for further competition for Cloud Support Services for larger, more complex requirements.​

Note, the scope and application process for Lots 1-3 remain unchanged. Suppliers can apply for any combination of the four lots.​

The public sector can use the G-Cloud framework on the Digital Marketplace to find:​

  • cloud hosting, for example content delivery networks or load balancing services​
  • cloud software, for example accounting tools or customer service management software
  • cloud support, for example migration services or ongoing support

The Digital Marketplace has been created by the Cabinet Office to provide public sector organisations with faster and more cost-effective access to cloud-based services from a variety of suppliers. ​Public sector organisations, including agencies and arm's length bodies, use the Digital Marketplace to find cloud services, specialists who can work on digital projects and physical data center space.

  • The public sector can use the G-Cloud framework on the Digital Marketplace to find:​
    • cloud hosting, for example content delivery networks or load balancing services​
    • cloud software, for example accounting tools or customer service management software​
    • cloud support, for example migration services or ongoing support​

  • Access to the latest technology and innovation with every refresh of the g-cloud agreement​
  • Change service provider easily​
  • Front end catalogue allows keyword search for Services and/or Supplier​
  • Mini Competition and Direct Award options
  • Terms and Conditions documents supplied with every service​
  • SFIA Rate Card supplied for each Service​
  • Service Description Document supplied with every Service
  • Ability to contact Suppliers to ask clarification questions
